BoonDoc Posted November 27, 2013 Share Posted November 27, 2013 Never field dressed a bird before but after shooting a turkey in the backyard, I wondered how hard could it be? Used a pen knife and made a slit over the breast bone. Grabbed the skin and pulled it off like it was wearing a tight fitting sweater. Easy as can be. Dislocated both hips at the thigh and cut through. Cut out the breasts. You won't need youtube or any instruction if you have any idea of bird anatomy, even at the level of picking pieces out of a KFC bucket. Roasted the breasts for dinner. Used the other parts for soup.
