Guest FrostyLeaves
Currently i am 15 years old but my birthday is november 23. i still technically am a junior hunter but when i turn 16 i will be considered an adult hunter. opening days for rifle season are october 26 and november 16. i will be in the woods during that time and before november 23. say i get a deer prior to november 23. when i turn 16 will i than be able to purchase my adult hunting license that comes with another deer tag and be able to harvest another deer or do i just get the tag from my junior license. if anyone knows or has any ideas please comment it would be a great help
chiefbkt
Your best bet would be to contact NYS DEC.
dirt_a_KISS
I think you stick with your junior tags and then next year you can buy your adult tags when you are 16 years old. The same thing had happened to me too, when i was 16.
