This is the second deer that the boy has taken. He got one last year on the youth hunt weekend when he was 14.

Keller Pai, 15, of Groton with a doe he shot Sunday morning with a muzzleloader during the Youth Firearms Deer Hunt weekend.

He was accompanied on the hunt by Paul Walling. Walling said this is the second deer that the boy has taken. He got one last year on the youth hunt weekend when he was 14.
