blaster Posted October 27, 2013 Share Posted October 27, 2013 Im agustin Montanez and I especially love bow hunting very much.i hunt in my town of chili ,Letchworth state park in New York,and other places where Im allowed ,,I love to see wild life at its best,..well coyotes caught my attention at letchworth state park as I was hunting there one day, bow hunting of course,,the size of these coyotes was really impressive,,I hunted 3 consecutive days and was a able to capture the coyotes on camera,, wow, are they legal to hunt there,and can they also be to blame for the deer herd decline there Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A large pack can take down any lame deer or young adult. If the winter is especially hard they can have a big impact when snow gets deep and deer are struggling just to survive. I wish you all the luck hunting them as they are very illusive. Your best option if you are new to hunting them is to pick up a book on how to do it and this web site has many really good hunters and some of them go for coyotes specifically... Calles and decoys work well with this predator but they can smell, hear and see better than there prey... Good luck, hope you GETSOME!!!
