Hunting near Verona

Going to be stuck in Verona first week of gun season with some time to burn, just wondering if someone could recommend some state land to hunt ? Thanks

There's state land on the left hand side of route 365 as you're headed to Rome.

Head over to town of Camden and or Cleveland. A lot of state land north of Oneida lake. Family use to have camp just north of Cleveland and did pretty well with the deer hunting the property.

If you're gonna go Camden way there's also state land in empyville / annsville
