Buying Out of State

I stopped at Walmart yesterday for leftover doe tags. Everyone in line got to talking about the background check and fee for ammo. The clerk said that it is going to be a FELONY to buy ammunition out of state. Not sure if he knows what he is talking about or not, just thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone on here had heard anything about it.

A lot of out of state places already will not sell to you if you are from ny now. Not sure about the felony part call the hotline and ask

with all the liberal communist politicians you have in NY it wouldn't surprise me one bit if that happened.

This is an idea at the federal level that anti-gun politicians would like to pass, but as of this date, it has no hope for passage.

 

Individual states may pass laws prohibiting the possession of ammo not purchased and registered in their state though.  None of this has any intention of reducing crime at all.  It's just PEOPLE CONTROL!
