Ohio Road Kill

Well to say that I am some what bummed that i cant get into the woods this year would be an understatment.

 

Some of the deer I have seen just makes it that much worse.

 

I thought i was going to get the chance to pick up a nice 130" - 135" road kill last week but it got "claimed" by an off duty sheriffs deputy before i could get ahold of a C.O. and secure a tag.

 

So this morning when I saw this guy lying on the side of the road i had his head off and in the back of the truck in about 30 seconds. Just wish I had both sides of the rack. Apparently the whoever hit it or another passer by could only manage to cut off the left side where the skull plate was busted and didnt think to cut off the head. I figure he would gross around 150" if he was uniform.
