Venison Stock

Tried something new this year with the bones I saved after butchering. Roasted them in the oven for about an hour and then made a stock by boiling them in water with some onions, carrots and celery. Haven't made anything with the stock yet but am curious how it will taste. Has anyone done this before and if so what have you made with it? How did it taste?
