Bow hunting class

Hey all I'm new to the forum and archery/bow hunting and have a question about the class! Can you take the online portion of the class when ever you want and then attend a field class or is it all linked! I was looking to try and make spring turkey but there are no classes listed anywhere near me at the moment!

You can complete the online part any time.  The tough part is getting into a class after.  It has to be a home study class and the instructor has the option of allowing you in.  I would take the online for the information, but I would expect to take the entire class when one comes up.  The good part is the online counts as the home study part of the class.  It really has no benefit in getting s short cut into a class.  Keep checking the dec website.  they list all classes by county.  They fill up fats.

Not necessary to take course for turkey hunting , just need a small game lic . And turkey tags. Only need the course to purchase a deer archery tag.
