Long branch park archery range

Hello all,

I'm a local syracusian that has frequented the Long Branch park public archery range. The end of the season has left it in disrepair and I have discovered that there are no plans by the park service to restore it.

 

I want to get peoples opinions on the range and find out if there is anybody interseted in helping restore the park. Its one of only 3 public ranges in the area and I feel like it would be tragedy to loose it.

 

Please let me know what you think good or bad. This is not a project I can do alone. The range needs new stands, I can get lumber to rebuild them, and it also needs new bales.

 

The park service is open to any suggestions and funding that would help.

Hi Katelinn and welcome to the forums.

 

I know there are several members here who frequent that range.  I hope you find some help.  Wish I lived a little closer or I would help out.
