A sure sign of spring in Central New York is the arrival of ruby- throated hummingbirds.

Where are they?

According to hummingbird.net, the little hummers are migrating northward, making their way up the East Coast after wintering in Mexico and Central America. As of this morning, the website's map reported the most recent sightings were in Virginia and southern Maryland.
