gundeck
I would like to run this past you guys. The buck that I shot a couple weeks ago with my bow, had a cut on his left hind quarter (down the leg a bit) that I assumed was either a tear from an antler (but looked too clean a cut for that) or maybe a cut from a broadhead (result of a really bad shot). About the same time, I noticed one of the doe in our area (runs with two of this years fawns) had an obvious limp on her left rear. My neighbor got a really good look at her from his treestand and said she has a cut part way down the back of the left leg. What do you think are the possibilities of these injuries being from the same source? I am thinking maybe a fence of other item in the woods may have caused both injuries. Isles323
If it's a clean cut i don't think it could be anything other than a fence. An attack from a bear or coyote doesn't make too much sense but is always possible.
