will my clover keep growing if I mow late into September?

clover will usually continue to grow until their is a killing frost. The deer will graze it,unless they have a better food source. The only reason to mow is if the weeds grow to much .

I would keep it trimmed to 6", cutting it stimulates new tender growth that the deer love.
