Fortunately he had LOTS of river for the takeoff...

 

I am not crazy about flying commercial, but I love bush planes.  At one time in my life I spent time in Beavers, Otters, Cessnas ( 180s to 206s) and Cubs..Probably my favorite was landing and taking off on tundra with wheel equipped Supercubs.

 

You guys got a couple of great bulls and did an exemplary job of meat care..

 

I'd love to do that again, but I'm too old and poor...

That's some damn good eats! Congrats on the nice animals.

Like Pygmy been in several bush planes and a couple sport planes too.

Had a client who flew G 5's and got a ride in one from the right seat. Same guy had a couple planes at home and I spent more time upside down in his Citabria than right side up......good stuff.

Always said if I didn't spend my money on guns and hunts it would have been on flying a plane.
