Dr. Honk
Hunted a partially cut corn field in the rain today with three friends. Turned out pretty good with a mixed bag of mallards and geese. Edited December 6, 2014 by Dr. Honk

Twax10
Congrats Don! I have to find a good corn field to kill some mallards in. Unfortunately all my geese are killed in the field and all my ducks are killed over the water.
Dr. Honk
Congrats Don! I have to find a good corn field to kill some mallards in. Unfortunately all my geese are killed in the field and all my ducks are killed over the water. This the first time we have killed mallards over corn in many years. They were fresh migrators and pounded that field for several days straight. I wanted to hunt 'toga tomorrow but it is iced in by the launch so that does it for the year on the lake. May hunt geese on Sunday if I can find some birds.

I'm hoping the warmer weather might keep a few around for next weekend.
