my place is in cortland county, near the tuller hill state forest.  i'm planning to go up there next weekend to hunt with the ml.  can anyone tell me how much snow we've gotten?

We have total about 15 inches of snow. But lots of wind so there may be drifts. We expect some rain on Sunday  so some may melt. But more snow and very cold temps next week. Tons of deer out though, all digging in herds.

If you're not here yet, I got an update for you. Almost all the snow melted yesterday with all that rain we had (I got pretty wet). For now its all mud and ice, but that could change by Thursday. I'm not sure how much snow they're calling for, but there's a winter advisory alert for here for the next 3 days. I'll keep ya posted if you want in the snow dept.

i'm heading up tonight to hunt tomorrow.  any update on the weather or how much snow is on the ground?  has anyone been seeing anything in the woods?

The weather this weekend should be prime. I've been seeing an average of about 4 inches of snow on the ground. We really couldn't ask for a better final hunting weekend weather-wise; perhaps a light dusting today to cover up old tracks, but sunny and cold both Sat and Sun.

My 9-5 really screws up my hunting so I've only been seeing 'em feeding in fields from my car.

Should be pretty good!
