Dropped off my hides and heard of 8 sightings ...actually near our sons place...knew of one...for it was just sitting in his drive...but was told how a sow with cubs dragged off the guys buck  ??? Yow...don't think I'd fool around with that scenario either.........

It happens.  It is just a free meal for a bear, As a matter of fact, it has happened to someone here.
