3a early season

Anyone hunt the 3A area Forrest preserves in the Catskills? (Slide mountain, kaaterskill, Indian head, hunter-west kill)

I want to go there for the early bear season this year has anyone had good luck in the area?

Any tips/advice would be great thx.

I don't have any tips but i was invited to go out and hunt 3A for early bear. Supposedly there are a lot of bear in that WMU. Best advice you'll get is to put a good pair of boots on and start scouting.
