Pre-season football mistakes

Did I miss something or are the announcers making more mistakes than the players?

 

In yesterdays games the announcers announced first downs that clearly weren't, wrong downs, wrong players, in one case even the wrong team name.  It's was like they weren't watching the game they were supposed to be announcing?

 

Were the networks "trying out" their players as well?

 

Perhaps it was pre-season comedy?

Ya know ..those bloopers tapes can some times make more money than the actual broadcast....
