growalot
Look like Christmas trees with the lights on....the plums are almost ripe on a few but not there yet...I certainly do know where the deer will be the first 2 wks of bow...too bad I won't be there as well. The foot traffic in the field next to the plum hedgerow is impressive...if you get a chance think about wild plum....I am going to plant some of my dug up suckers next spring along the fence line in the lower field between the grape vines.... https://www.qdma.com/articles/know-your-deer-plants-american-plum Edited September 7, 2015 by growalot
Berniez
Careful those plums trees are covered with spines. While they make great thickets (not to mention great jelly and jam)s they can become invasive and impenetrable to hunt. Just be ready keep them in check. growalot
I have had them for years...I put them along the garden fencing to help with the deer jumping...I till side and weed wack and mow the other....they will line the road side pines and food plot down below...OMG they are so good..Too bad they are mostly pit. Yes maintaining for tire health is a must! Edited September 25, 2015 by growalot
