tommyc50 Posted September 28, 2015 Share Posted September 28, 2015 tonite i made venison peppersteak for dinner it was outragous very tender i marinated the meat in chinese wine soy sauce corn starch and something igot off the internet a little bit of baking soda [1/2 teaspoon for 2lbs of meat] they said that the baking soda tenderizes the meAT wow i marinated over nite it really tenderize the meat like a chinese restaurant the process they use is called velveting i tried it wasnt that tender i marinated the meat 36 hrs it wasnt that tender good but chewy but the baking soda seemed to work ive made venison and broccholi and venison stirfrys im using up the last of the venison in the freezer 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
