I stand corrected.  Was in the Vet's office the other day and saw a poster that said 4 types of ticks, including both the deer and dog ticks, carry the lyme virus.

 

That's different from the 80's when I got the shots, then they said it was just the deer ticks that carried the lyme virus. 

 

Live and learn.
