Out of state archery license?

I have gun hunted in New York but have been looking into bow hunting here. I stopped at the place I bought my license at the past years and asked about the requirements. They told me all I had to do was show proof of my PA archery license. When I read online I'm confused on the course requirements. I have bow hunted PA for over. 20 years. Do I need the course??

I've never taken the NYcourse but if you're hunter Ed card was "international" which Id assume Pa is, you'd be ok long as you took course there.

IBEF is the type course. International bowhunter education foundation it stands for.

just take your your PA tags to a town clerk and get your NY tags .. no course's needed ..
