PA NR doe permits

All who cross over to PA to deer hunt, non-resident doe permits are accepted Monday 7/18...one week early this year. Only 2F, 2H and 2G are in low supply. Good luck. FT

Xbow hunted PA a couple of years. Sucks that there is no hunting in Sunday's and the gun season starts so late.

I have hunted Pa since the mid 1970s, Freytown...

 

I'm done....First they implemented the ARs, which  made it much more unlikely for a meat hunter like myself to shoot a legal buck...

 

Then last year they required that I had to wait until after the first 5 days of season  to fill my EXPENSIVE doe permits which dramatically reduces my chances of doing so.

 

It just  isn't worth the money for me anymore to hunt for 3 or 4 days with a minimal chance of bringing some meat home.

 

That's just me..I know that a lot of the trophy hunters LOVE the ARs...So do the taxidermists...
