After reading tons of reviews and comparisons it seems almost everyone likes to compare the Razor HD to the El Swarovskis. So it seems I may break away from Swarovski at least this time and good call on the doubler, definitely something to consider. At least it could serve as a stand-in for a spotting scope until I have more funds for a standalone spotting scope.

If your looking at Razors take a look at the Zeiss conquest HD, they are about the same price. I had 12x50 razors, I also have 8x32 ( these stay in my whitetail packs) and 10x42 conquests( my truck binos) I sold my razors. I think the conquests are slightly better in low light then razors and have a more neutral color, they definitely have better contrast looking into shaded areas.
In the 1k range the conquests are tops if you ask me. Also if you know where to look you can find a demo and save some cash...hint hint
