growalot
So they had time to consider color options to attract woman...OMG that is SO INSULTING, but no time to consider cross bows or early extra doe tags to reduce herd and increase every ones participation especially physically challenged and elderly.. Way to go Albany! 3
growalot
So I read the article, and thought about my response while berry picking this morning. I stand by OMG how demeaning, and I do not mean to just woman, I am a woman. It is demeaning to the men and women that raise these young woman and mentor them into hunting. To even slightly imply there efforts would be for naught over a mere color requirement. It is demeaning to all new comers in an implication the desire to be a female hunter is not one born of the love of nature, conservation, family time oo a feeling of self sufficiency. These being the deciding factor, no they must look good in the safety color required or they loose the desire to hunt. You people really need learn how to verbally approach the hunting community. All that needed to be said is: Along with the safety orange, we are now including a safety pink for science bares out that pink is a highly visible color to hunters, as with blaze orange not visible to deer. Some times you need to realize how your " feel good" political spins on the things , make you sound.

My 3 yr old girl lives and breaths pink if she is like this in 10 years or so it will make a difference getting her interested. If it makes even 1 girl swing toward hunting it's a win for the sportSent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

BKhunter
My main issue with this article is that they classify hunting as a sport. I am not a fan of this classification as it makes it seem like it's a game which it is clearly not.
stoneam2006
Not the point Stoneam...Apparently I missed it then...bc you said it was demeaning...idk what's demeaning about women wanting to look good at all times and if pink makes them look and feel good what's the problem? Now it's legal for them to use itSent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Syracuse only if you come hunting that's a winSent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
stoneam2006
I guess what I'm saying is if a girl who has no intrest in hunting all of a sudden sees pink camo in the hunting store maybe it will spark an intrest...Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
