Apple Blossoms

So... Now that we're approaching the first frost, my apple tree just blossomed. This is new to me this late in the year, and it seems like this tree is confused and fighting. The weather has been erratic the entire year.

Any insight from those with more experience?

It can sometimes happen,usually just a branch or two..so it will be able to blossom in the spring. If the whole tree blooms ,then there will be no blossoms in spring...but tree should be fine.

I had hoped you'd reply. Much appreciated.

I think there's about two dozen blossoms scattered about, so I'm hoping for a generous Spring blossom. We had only six or so apples this year.
