TH41
I have been seeing some good sized flocks. They look like they are doin fine. I hunt from Tioga county to steuben county. I went on a couple of tours and all areas saw birds. The properties I hunt in chemung county looked the best.As far as numbers went anyway. But there was also less snow. Looks like maybe a thaw this week, temps in the 40's ?? That should bring them all out. I'll be getting more pics here pretty soon. March and April scouting is on the way. nygooseduster26
Youth hunt weekend went unsuccessful though had some close encounters. Steuben County really needs to manage some coyotes! They are EVERYWHERE! The property where i hunt where we usually see 10-15 gobblers each morning, is now overrun by coyotes and we only saw 5 gobblers over the 2-Day youth hunt. and not a SINGLE jake! :-[ >
