New Hi point 955 9mm Carbine

Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this carbine and how does it shoot. I'm hoping to shoot mine this weekend. I didnt want to go through the hassle of getting a pistol permit so I went out to a Long Island gun shop today and picked  up a hi point 9MM carbine. I wanted something that I, wife and evetually the kids can shoot and where the ammo would be cheap. I figure with the price of 9MM ammo I could shoot alot more without breaking the bank or getting a sore shoulder...lol. I do have a 22 hornet to play with but ammo is not easy to find and can be a bit pricey. Appearence wise the Hi point looks like a nice little gun to have fun with and the price tag didnt break the bank. I have always been a rifle and shotgun guy, so this is new for me shooting a carbine/ar type gun .
