Thanks. It works good just not sturdy enough way to mount on my boat with it being a open bow ski boat. Thought I could rig something up but decided to go with trolling plate and possibly a kicker If needed.

Moving to a kicker myself this year my plate worked well all last season it's the happy troller. Sorry about the derail I'm done now. Lol

No derail lol. How did you like the performance of the happy troller. It's what I'm going to I could only get to about 4mph dragging 6 5 gal buckets

I like it a lot I could get down to 1.5 no problem at all and never had a problem with putting it up or down. I really like the safety it provides if you throttle up before the plate is up it doesn't break anything at all. Had it on my boat all year from April to October which was in the water most of that time and have no complaints. Definitely recommend it.
