Huh planted a plot and didn't know....

It was the lane way turnips from last year...I went down and mowed then a week or so later I went down and disced the area up..the next day I went down and limed it then went down and lightly disced it again. So yesterday I went down and cut a bunch of trees and many of them went across the entire width of the lane way Today I went down to finish clearing the tops out to the fence row...I look down and that lane way is a mass of turnip sprouts ...Unfortunately I hadn't dragged it.  I was planning that at planting to tear up new growth weeds Ooopppsss. The tractor compacted most of it,so thats not too bad. I trampled a lot while moving tops but can always over seed... that was a time and money saver all I need to do is fertilize it with the hand spreader.

Looks like I'll ll do the same with the WW...I pulled all the daisies in it out.will mow in about a week let he turkey eat some and disc and drag. Have a rye poanting the turkey were in the morning that will get the same thing.....3 adult birds....hope they were toms...

A little thick in some places thin in others but coming in well considering it self planted... not lacking rain
