My local guy is charging $250 a foot. Includes felt and rings, but seems a little high from what I've seen on some forums which range from the $135-$200. I have no doubt he will do quality work but wonder if anyone has any other options for me?

The only real issue I have is that we will leave camp Sunday and I can freeze it just fine at home but would prefer someone sort of close to me in Rochester for drop off on Monday. I don't know how long a frozen bear skin is good for, but I'll be out of town starting Tuesday.
