I wonder how many lives this feral cat has

I had a cat who loved to roam. I once saw him coming back from another property early one morning while I was in a tree-stand on the outer edge of our woods. I also had cam footage of him not long after a fox had been through. I always thought he would get eaten, but a car got him in the end. He was a fearless beast:

In Wyoming there are feral cats everywhere. I would a few each day. The guides ask hunters to shoot them all. I wasn’t wasting Weatherby ($6-$7 a shot) on random cats.
