Draft dodging?

When Bill Clinton ran for president, being a draft dodger became acceptable.  Well apparently not for non-democrats.

This morning I watched Norah O’Donnell interview some author of another book that criticizes President Trump.  O’Donnell pointed out to the author that Trump was a draft dodger.  So how is that relevant Norah?  She should be aware that many politicians were draft dodgers and there were those who never served like Obama regardless of a “draft”?   Apparently the liberal media uses the act of draft dodging when it fits their agenda. to somehow paint someone as un-American or unpatriotic.  

Now I am confused about liberals who supported the communist takeover of Vietnam.  During the Vietnam War those who resisted serving in the military were heroes, while those of us who served were “baby killers”.  So should not the liberals love Trump for not serving?
