Delta Duckman
Our duck season has been way off of our regular pace this year in southeast Louisiana. Saving our season are Lesser Scaup (dosgris in Louisiana) that have showed up by the thousands. They have done a similar thing the last few years late season. They roost in the marsh prairie and go the Mississippi river to the grain complexes to eat what falls in the river in the morning. Back and forth every day and we are in line with the flight path. Game on! Second part is catching some redfish in the same marsh in the evening time. Good days in Sportsman’s Paradise… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8G_A-L5uNg
Rattler
Good video. Used to shoot a lot of Bluebill in my youth when I lived on the coast. Later moved on to puddle ducks. Then onto Canada Geese in the cornfields. Haven't been out for waterfowl in many years and I do miss it. Maybe someday again. I still have all the dekes, but now I need a boat again. cdbing
Thanks for sharing. Brings back some fond memories of duck hunting and chasing red fish and speckled trout around Merritt Is. FL. Good times.Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
