Public land to hunt geese?

Does anybody now of some decent land to hunt geese in? I have water that I hunt for them in but would like to be able to hunt some fields for them. Seems people have better luck that way.

Boy thats a tuffy one. Ever since NY dropped the Cooperative hunting program, your hopes of finding public land to hunt geese on is zill to none. Hay fields and cut corn fields is key when hunting early geese. I stay away from the water when hunting early geese.

Yeh, once that flight way force to land in the Hudson River they went around killing geese all around NYC. Our goose hunting off the Westchester coast got pretty messed up by that.
