3506f718fa1dbc3de2be99531410fc8f.jpg spent my birthday hunting pheasant with my dad and young pup. He needs a bit more training to keep from flushing running birds out of range but I’m more than pleased with the 6 month old Boykin/Springer cross. Midday he started working them closer and was able to connect on one for his reward. He broke from his retrieve and flushed two more in range I wasn’t ready as I was helping him through his first retrieve and my dad missed. He then returned the bird to me with out much encouragement. Most impressed with my daughters training ability and getting him steady to shot.
