ALL DAY AND NOTHING

So opening day, first time deer hunting. I get to my spot in the woods around 6:30. Was waiting till "Legal" light. At 6:45 the shots start flying. by 7 it sounded like a re-enactment of gettysburg all around me. But yet all day I sat and never once saw or heard a deer in the spot I was hunting. It was a disappointing day.

I'm in 3m and got the same thing.......a whole lotta nothin.

3m man thats not good they give everyone 2 dmps

everyone else around me sounded like they were seeing things, can't say they were hitting them as it sounded like they were emptying their guns

im in 3k and my normal property the got a nice 8 16 inch spread and a huge heavey 7 point beautiful bucks i didnt see a single thing... but thats ok i just had16 days off hunted an average 8 hours 12 of the days so fustrateing when you hunt that much and the other guys just get out in the woods and tag out on a two nice bucks the first morning

i went to 3M and went to state forest and alot of deer, was able to fill one of my dmp. But its swamped with hunters
