NYS roadkill is pretty similar. All 'finds/hits' need to be tagged, by yourself/licensed hunter if in season, or a LEO before you can take possession of it.

I think all big game NY road kill need to be tagged, by law enforcement. Does anyone know if it applies to small game and trapping animals? Anyone know a link?
