Moreau Lake stocking in jeopardy !

The Saratoga County Board of Supervisor recentally voted to not back the $5000.00 fee to stock 2500 rainbow trout in Moreau Lake for 2012.

Plese contact your Saratoga supervisors or stop by the park ofice as the "Friends of Moreau Lake" have a petition being signed to present to the board and hopefully reverse this decision.

Thousands of visators frequent the park year around and it would be a big loss to the area...

If you are following the Trout Stocking issue, 127 people signed the petition asking the Saratoga Board of Supervisors to reinstate the funds to stock Moreau Lake with Rainbow Trout. The petition will be given to Moreau Town Supervisor Jenkins Monday, February 13, so he can present it to the Board. You still have time to contact the Saratoga Board of Supervisors and request that they fund Rainbow Trout stocking in Moreau Lake in 2012.
