Cut 4 or five steaks or back straps into small cubes (less than an inch.) Soak them in water, a teaspoon of season salt and about one tablespoon of vinegar for about 15 mins. (no longer) Just enough to cover the meat.. Then drain and pat dry. Dice up potatos and par boil them.Dice about 4 strips of bacon and fry them, with one small sweet onion, until almost done . Add the meat and potatos and cook till tender. Serve with eggs and toast.. You're ready for the day.
