chiefbkt
Since I have owned my .22 WMR (Savage model 93FV, Leupold VX-II 4-12) I have shot CCI maxi mag for general shooting and was happy. Last year I bought the Winchester supreme ammo in 30 and 34 grain and loved how they shot, so I was shooting them ever since. A couple of weeks ago I bought some of the new Hornady 30 grain v-max bullets for .22 WMR and man are they sweet! I got the opportunity to sight them and was shooting 5 shot groups at 25 yards around .3 -.4 inches. And was more impressed when I shot them at 100 and got a 1.4 inch 5 shot group. I have seen what these do to squirrels, and if you hunt them for meat, I would not recommend these bullets! I primarily got these for woodchucks and other varmints but haven't had the chance to kill any of them yet. If anyone is looking for some super accurate ammo I would give these a try.
