I expect the Circuit Judge would do well with .45 Colt loads. Based on my experience with the Taurus Judge, I would suggest that rifled barrels and modern .410 loads using shot cups produce extremely poor patterns...That is, they spray shot.

The Judge is, in my opinion, the best handgun choice for home or vehicle defense. I'm pondering on where the Circuit Judge could fit in my arsenal.

The Judge is awesome, Winchester PDX1 loads are devastating at short distance and .45 colt is not that bad on recoil, great home defense and great backup gun while hunting if you ask me....I love mine...
