Time for an update

I happend to sign on from another device and the home page is very dated, I know its last stuff he wrote but I feel the dates alone will keep the sire from being looked at . 2016 and 2019?  Really ,perhaps a new updated lead story at least ,most newer member do not even know who burmjohn is.  If we want to attract new members and participants an update should be made , I'd make a poll about it but this is far outside of my skilset.
