Public land in CNY area

Hello all sorry for asking this I’m sure it’s been asked plenty time over but figure any info or advice would be refreshing, I am looking for somewhere to hunt turkey  in counties Oswego,Oneida,Maddison Onondaga, Cayuga or Jefferson my go to place is low on population the last couple years and looking for other options. I was thinking about Montezuma WMA but not sure about that area any information would be appreciated.

Oh is there a specific area that’s open to the public? I thought you needed a permit or something.

It’s pretty much all open to the public. You can get maps. Tells you the areas that are open and not in training exercises. Sign in and out with your phone. Pretty simple deal really.

Just drive down rt 3a and look for any non-posted land and you should be good to go.

I would not be to fast to just jump on unposted property anywhere but if you jump on something that is part of the military base without doing you due diligence of signing in and such you may need to pack a lunch.  Those Mp’s and Federal dudes do not mess around much when it comes to weapons in the base.
