where to Pattern your shotgun

Hello all, 

this is my first post I'm a new member here. I have a question for all of you. where does everyone go to pattern their shotguns? I live in the greater Rochester area, and the ranges I have called say they allow slugs only. unfortunately I do not know anyone with any land/ property I can go shoot. does anyone know of a range I could go to that allows shot? thanks for any help.

Check around the Sportsmen's clubs in the area that have trap and skeet fields.  They usually will have a pattern board set up too.
