Is it legal to hunt Brookhaven Dept. of finance land?

Seems like most of the “public” land in Brookhaven is now owned by the Dept. of finance.  A few areas I used to hunt a few years ago that where owned by the town of Brookhaven are now owned by there Dept. of finance.  Is that still considered public huntable land?

Best way to check I would think is to call the ridge hunter check station tomorrow morning and they can let you know. They own a ton of land and it would be great if it was huntable.

Nope not at all. Per the office of LM: " Hunting is PROHIBITED on all Town owned properties."
