    I take them out whenever they show some interest. Most of my kids started asking around 2. I never plan on shooting something at that age just try to have fun. This is from last week.     There is a major probability that the deer in my area are not alarmed by my smells. I deer hunt on about 300 acres and I'm in it all year working on fences, equipment, hunting and working with my coon dog. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Wow. A lot of you go way farther than I do. I usually wear the same clothes that I wear all week at work. Most time before I go sit I just fixed some sort of farm equipment that we need now to finish up a harvest. So I'll be covered in grease oil antifreeze what ever and I see plenty of deer. Not saying I wouldn't see more if I didn't smell like that but I don't know that its going to make a big difference in where I hunt. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    I take youth out with me any chance I get. I hunt only private land for big game and small game I might go to the state land 1 time a year. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    I've run hounds my whole life. Been behind all flavors running different types of fur but for the past 10 years I've been running redbones. They seem to please me better than the others.     I have shot several deer with my kids with me. A few years ago I got a 11 point with 3 of my kids. I still hunt with them and just plop down on a fallen tree when they need a rest. I let them pick which way we walk and we talk most of the time. If the weather is crappy I don't take them. I go out with the mindset that I most likely will not see much but as long as they are having fun its time well spent. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
