  3. Selling my son’s rifle (with his permission LOL)... He’s more of a bird hunter than big game, so this firearm sits in the safe. - Left Handed Savage 116 in 270 Win. - Stainless with synthetic stock - Accutrigger - Appropriate round count 80 (all at range, though taken into the woods once) - Leopold VX-II 3-9 x 40 Silver Scope - Leupold neoprene scope cover - No box Price is $800 - not interested in any trades. Willing to do a FTF if you are a NYS resident (willing to travel 1 hour from Northern Westchester to an FFL). You pay FFL fee. Will ship to your FFL on your dime to contiguous 48. Payment by Postal Money Order.
  4. I had someone express serious interest but he thought it was a gun for a Southpaw
  5. Make sure he sends it to the manufacturer for a service first. It may have a dent or 2
  6. WOW! That is some Bullwinkle. Congrats!!!
  7. I am the original owner of this Citizen Eco-Drive Blue Angels watch. Watch is in excellent condition! I just sent it to Citizen for a once over before listing for sale. Crystal was replaced, so it has no scratches. As you can see in the photo of the certificate, it has passed all the manufacturer tests (Note the date as confirmation). This is the Titanium model, so it is lighter (and more expensive) than the Stainless Steel model. Price is $245 shipped and insured to you in contiguous 48 ONLY.
  8. I am the original owner of this true Safe Queen. Bought 9 years ago. Exactly 21 rounds have been fired down the barrel, all at the range. There is not a mark on her anywhere. Obviously can’t call it New since I have shot it, but if there is such thing as a 99% rating, then this firearm gets it. Here’s what’s included: - - Winchester Model 70 Featherweight with Original Box - - Baraska 3-12x56 IR scope (illuminated Reticle) with mounts & rings - - 8 boxes of .308 Win ammo (see photo for specifics) Note: One box has 19 rounds in plastic case Price is $875 for a local transfer at FFL if you are a NYS resident. I am in Westchester County, NY and will travel up to an hour. Otherwise, we would need to figure out exact shipping charge for gun & ammo to your FFL and scope to you (would need to remove from firearm to ship). Not interested in any trades.
  9. 10. I also bought my first bow from Bowhunter's Discount Warehouse - - Martin Cougar Magnum. Still have the receipt at home, even though the bow and the catalog company are long gone. There was also a Fisherman's Discount Warehouse (or something like that - probably the same company in PA). I used to buy fishing rods from their catalogs and have them delivered. Since I was so young and didn't have a credit card, I'd order them COD (That is NOT Cod Fish for you young guys, but Cash On Delivery). I still have every one of the rods I bought all those years ago (late 1970s).

  12. WTS: 20ga Franchi Alcione Barrel In used but excellent condition. If you have an Alcione 12ga you can convert to 20ga without need for a gunsmith. It was one of the perks of this particular firearm. These are near impossible to find any more. Here are the specs: - - 20ga Franchi Alcione Barrel - - 26" barrel (2-3/4" or 3" Shells) - - 2 flush choke tubes (IC, Mod) - - Choke wrench Price is $450 shipped to your door in contiguous 48. Payment by Postal Money Order or PayPal (you must cover PayPal charge). Will accept personal check so long as you can wait for it to clear.
  13. I find it interesting that most would pass. I don't bow hunt any longer, but that might make me think twice. If I saw a bruiser (and with my .308 in hand), I would give it serious consideration - along with how am I getting it out of the woods! I would approach it as a once in a lifetime decision. If it's "more than just your average bear" (intentional play on words there Boo Boo) about which I can tell stories, yea I think so. Otherwise, I'd probably sit back, take some photos and enjoy the experience (that's the part non-hunters don't understand about us).
