That's a very difficult choice to have to make - My heart goes out to you! I adopted a Female GSP 2 years ago because the owner had "personal reasons" as well. She's a great dog, fair hunter, and now one of the family. She's 1 of 4 dogs we have (besides 2 toy poodles, we have a Chocolate Lab pup as well). Hey guys... I have a 12ga Remington 870 with standard 4+1 magazine configuration and I would like to put a thumbhole stock on it. Under current NYS law would that be legal? If "Yes - it would be legal", would it still be legal with both the thumbhole stock and an extended magazine tube (+2 rounds to make the gun 6+1)?

I sold my Dad's Marlin 336CS .35 Rem about 5 years ago and have regretted it ever since. Think twice before you sell that gun! I practically gave away a Weatherby Vanguard Deluxe from 1983 and don't feel bad, but my Dad's gun will haunt me for the rest of my life.
